Itinerary from Luxor to Luxor - 6 days
* D1 – Luxor – Edfu Temple – Sandal
Meet the minibus at your hotel or the
address of your choice. Departure by minibus to Edfu. (Optional visit
the Temple of Edfu.) Boarding and navigation to the south. Enjoy
breathtaking views of the Nile from the terrace, which is furnished with
tables, chairs and cushions. This is an ideal way to discover life
along the Nile. Navigation to the village of Fauza. Dinner and overnight
on board.
* D2 – Quarries of Selsila – Temple of Horemheb – Village of Ramadi
Navigation to the Pharaonic quarries of
Selsila, visit the site and the Temple of Horemheb. Lunch on board,
sailing and walking to the town of Ramadi following the irrigation
canals. Take a stroll or sip tea in the shade of the palm trees among
the local inhabitants. Dinner and overnight on board.
* D3 - Temple of Kom Ombo – Daraow Market
Navigation to Kom Ombo, visit the Temple. Lunch on board. Navigation to the village of Daraow. See the customs and traditions of Egyptian Nile culture. Navigation at sunset. Dinner and overnight on board.
* D4 – Ballouly Island – Island Arbiab – Nubian villages
Morning walk on the island of Arbiab. You will follow the maze of irrigation canals through farms, orchards, and palm groves. Farming techniques have changed very little since ancient times in Egypt. Lunch on board and sail to Aswan Garb. Appearing on the west side, large orange sand dunes rise up and seem to plunge into the Nile. You will also visit the first of the many multicolored Nubian villages that run along the river bank. Walk on the West Bank and view traditional Nubian architecture. Dinner and overnight on board.
* D5 – Aswan – Elephantine Island – Temple of Philae – Esna
Visit more Nubian villages with their
historic architecture, and Elephantine Island. Lunch, visit the
Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan and Philae Temple. Dinner and overnight on
board. Night sailing to Esna.
* D6 – Esna – Louxor
After breakfast, transfer by minibus to Luxor to your hotel or to the address of your choice in Luxor.
